Scope and Purpose
Boston Medical Case Journal publishes real-world medical case reports and applied medical use cases for educational and informational purposes. Submissions should describe documented cases encountered in clinical practice, healthcare operations, digital health, or applied medical contexts. The journal does not publish clinical guidelines, prescriptive treatment recommendations, or original clinical trial results.

Editorial Assessment and Review
All submissions are initially assessed by the editorial team to determine alignment with the journal’s scope and quality standards. Submissions considered a good fit may be sent for single-blind peer review. The editorial team reserves the right to make an editorial decision without external review when appropriate.

Anonymization and Consent
All submissions must be fully anonymized. Authors are responsible for ensuring that no patient-identifiable information is included in text, figures, tables, or supplementary materials. Where applicable, authors must confirm that appropriate patient consent has been obtained in accordance with institutional and ethical requirements.

Manuscript Preparation
Authors should submit a complete case manuscript as the primary submission file. Figures and tables may be uploaded separately. Disclosure statements, funding information, and anonymization confirmations should be included as supplementary files.
