Submission Preparation Checklist
All submissions must meet the following requirements:
- This submission describes a real-world medical case or applied medical use case and is intended for educational purposes only.
- The manuscript does not contain any patient-identifiable information and has been fully anonymized.
- Appropriate patient consent has been obtained where applicable.
- The manuscript has not been published previously and is not under consideration elsewhere.
- All authors have reviewed and approved the submission.
- Any potential conflicts of interest or funding sources have been disclosed.
- The submission complies with the journal’s scope and author guidelines.
Medical Case Reports
This section publishes structured medical case reports describing real-world clinical or applied healthcare cases. All submissions must be fully anonymized and intended for educational purposes only.
Applied Medical Use Cases
This section publishes applied medical and healthcare use cases, including digital health, operational, and technology-enabled case studies encountered in practice.
Invited Case Perspectives
This section publishes invited case perspectives and expert commentary. Submissions are by invitation only.
